Freshney Place Shopping Centre is launching its annual Have a Heart campaign on Monday14 November in partnership with BRIC and the NSPCC.
The annual campaign embraces the season of giving, by inviting visitors to donate a gift to a young person in the local area,
Customers are invited to take a tag from the tree located at Freshney Place’s Customer Service Desk, near HMV which contains a child’s age and gender. They then buy a gift and return the unwrapped item and tag back to the Customer Services Desk.
Amanda Austin, centre director at Freshney Place said: “Times are tight for many families and Have a Heart aims to ease the burden a little by providing gifts for children who might not receive anything otherwise.
This is such a popular event and the public’s response has been overwhelming in recent years. We hope we will be able to donate more gifts than ever, so would appeal to all our customers to get involved.”
People can kindly donate gifts between Monday 14th November to Sunday 18th December 2022 at Freshney Place Customer Service Desk, near HMV.
