Enchantmas, Magical Christmas Entertainment
Late November and December will play host to all sorts of festive fun around Freshney Place with animated characters roaming the shopping malls to add a touch of Christmas magic.
Enchanting Roaming Unicorn
Date: 24th November and 22nd December
Watch our elegant, magical unicorn strut her stuff and wow guests of all ages. She’s adorable, super fluffy and will captivate all! She’ll wander through the shopping centre, trotting along with mystical awe.
Glamorous Christmas Tree
Date: 1st December and 21st December
Bringing Christmas to life, these very glamorous Christmas Tree’s spread fun and laughter wherever they go as they mix and mingle with shoppers.
Roaming Snow Lion & Red Queen
Date: 8th December
This majestic beast and his Red Queen will cause all to stop and stare when he visits with his regal companions. A mystical encounter that none will forget.
Stilted Fairy Godmother
Date: 14th December
Have your wish granted by the spectacular stilt walking Fairy Godmother. This vision in pink will tower above the crowd on her stilts and send magic wishes flying everywhere!
Walkabout Contact Juggling Unicorn
Date: 15th December
This mesmerising walkabout unicorn is straight from a fairy-tale. The act does stunning contact juggling where they manipulate crystal spheres which appear to float over their hands and arms like a balls of light.
Juggling Entertainment
Date: 21st November, 7th December and 23rd December
Juggling entertainment will be provided by Feet First.

Sugarhooves The Unicorn
Make sure you don’t miss our friendly Sugarhooves the unicorn visiting the centre on the 24th November and 22nd December!
She’ll wander through the shopping centre, trotting along with mystical awe, but of course will stop for selfies!

Santa Paws
Freshney Place will be hosting its renowned Santa Paws event, providing all the beloved pet pooches out there with a chance to meet the big man himself and have a photograph taken with Santa.
As well as taking home a wonderful keepsake, the four legged friends will also receive a complimentary Christmas goody bag, filled with treats including snacks from Vitalin. A wide range of doggy friendly gifts will also be available to purchase, ensuring there will be lots of happy hounds on Christmas morning!
Live doggy demo’s, including fabulous dance routines, will take place during the event and entertain the crowd, courtesy of Klever K9’s who won national recognition in 2007 when they reached the last 12 acts on ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent.

Meet Santa this Christmas
Santa Claus is coming!
All children can visit Santa free of charge, and will have an opportunity to tell him what they would like for Christmas. They can also capture the moment with a photograph* when making a donation to charity, raising important funds for Great Ormond Street Hospital and When You Wish Upon a Star.

Have a Heart Campaign 2019
The Have a Heart campaign is back for Christmas. It generates hundreds of gifts for children every year and hopes to bring a smile to many youngster’s faces on Christmas morning.
In partnership with Home Start Lincolnshire, Harbour Place and the NSPCC, the annual and popular campaign embraces the season of giving by inviting the public to donate a Christmas gift to a child who is less fortunate this festive season.
If you would like to get involved, simply take a tag from the tree located at the Customer Services Desk which contains a child’s age and gender, buy a gift and return the unwrapped gift and tag back to the customer services desk.

Purple Tuesday
Freshney Place is proud to be joining hundreds of businesses nationwide this year in supporting Purple Tuesday, helping to improve the customer experience for people with disabilities.
Last year, the first ever Purple Tuesday was a huge success – with over 1,500 pledges to make concrete changes and improve the customer experience for disabled people. This included commitments such as: staff training, digital audits, better signage and training of frontline staff in basic sign language. Purple Tuesday gathered support from over 750 businesses.
Freshney Place works hard to ensure it offers an inclusive environment for all its customers and in recent years, amongst other things, has created a weekly Autism Hour and provided customer facing staff with Makaton training.
Purple Tuesday has been developed by disability organisation Purple; which works with businesses to improve their customer experience for disabled people.
