Upcoming events at Waterstones

  1. To celebrate the fantastic Harry Potter Book, Waterstones are holding some magical Triwizard Tournament inspired activities on Saturday the 8th of February!  There will also be a photo station with a sorting hat and other Harry Potter props!

 

 

2. Head to Waterstones on the 27th February between 10:30am – 12:00pm to meet Margaret Dickinson for a signing of her newest book “The Spitfire Sisters”.

 

 

3. On the 28th February, head down to Waterstones for a book signing with Tracy Baines, the author of The Variety Girls, between 11:00am and 12:00pm! This will be her debut novel and the story is set within our very own Cleethorpes, the sequel will be out later this year and will heavily feature Grimsby too. There will be cake, music and more! Not one to be missed.

 

 

 

4. Waterstones is launching Hilary Mantel’s long awaited book “The Mirror & the Light” on the 5th of March. They will be handing out cakes to the first 10 people to come in a buy/collect their copy, so don’t miss out!

  • The colouring sheet can be downloaded here, alternatively, you can pick one up from the customer service desk from the 6th February
  • No responsibility will be accepted for entries that are illegible, delayed or damaged electronically or online during the promotion
  • There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition
  • Automated/bulk entries and entries from third parties will be disqualified
  • Winner details will be announced on Freshney Place Shopping Centre Facebook page
  • Entries from people using multiple email addresses will be disqualified
  • The winning entries will be drawn shortly after the closing time/ date
  • Prizes are as stated, are not transferable and there is no cash alternative
  • Entries to all free prize draws must be received as stated by the closing date specified
  • By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions
  • Entries that are not submitted in accordance with these terms and conditions will be disqualified
  • By entering this competition you are agreeing to have your photograph taken for media purposes
  • Freshney Place employees and tenants cannot enter this competition
  • Entries submitted after 12pm on 24th February 2020 will not be valid

Dinosaurs Are Coming To Town

Come and see our Triceratops and two Baby Dinosaurs on the move and roaming around the centre.

a picture of it and share on Facebook, tagging Freshney Place to be in with a chance of winning some roarsome goodies!

Set times are as follows*
Triceratops; 11am – 11:20am, 1pm -1:20pm & 3pm – 3:20pm
Dino Babies; 12pm – 12:20pm & 2pm – 2:20pm
