When you listen to the radio, do you ever think…..I’d love to have a go at that?  Well, now is your chance!

BBC Radio Humberside are hosting auditions to find a new voice on the airwaves! Auditions will take place in the Community Hub at Freshney Place on Saturday 28^th September, between 10.00am and 5.30pm. Registration is from 9:30am.

Each candidate will have 60 seconds to tell a story about anything they like, serious or funny. It could be something that happened to them, or someone they know. The story will be told in front of a panel of judges, including Kofi Smiles (BBC Radio Humberside Presenter), Katy Noone (BBC Radio Humberside Presenter) and Gemma Oaten (Actress and Public Speaker).

If you are 18 years or over and would like the opportunity to audition, or know anyone who would, just visit Freshney Place on Saturday 28^th September.  We can’t wait to meet you!

BBC Radio Humberside will try and see as many people as possible, but unfortunately can’t guarantee they will be able to see everyone. Those coming along for auditions will need to bring a recent photo of them.
