Parking at Freshney Place Shopping Centre is simple – with two secure multi storey car parks providing more than 800 spaces. Our West Car Park is located near to the Market and Next, the East Car Park is located near our Primark store.

East Car Park – Accessible parking on level 6 and 8 only.  Please use the lifts provided.  Additional parking is available at our West Car Park.

	Dedicated parent and child spaces are available throughout the West Car Park.
	There are ample accessible parking facilities in both multi-storey car parks. For easy access to Shopmobility please park on the ground floor of the West Car Park.
	Electrical vehicle charging points are available on level 3 of the West Car Park. These charging points are FREE to use for paying car park customers.
	Visitors on motorcycles are welcome to park in the centre car parks and the same parking rates apply as stated below.

Car Park Payments

As you enter our car park the ANPR system will read your Vehicle Registration Number. If for any reason it doesn’t, please press for a ticket.

Before leaving the centre, please pay at any one of our 5 pay stations, either by entering your Vehicle Registration Number and following the instructions on the screen or, if applicable, using your ticket.

After payment, return to your car and exit or, if applicable, insert your validated ticket at the machine

Cycle racks are available on Frederick Ward Way outside Friary Walk, the ground floor of our West Car Park and around the town centre.

The Cycle Hub at Grimsby Town train station offers secure indoor cycle parking, servicing and repairs as well as cycle hire for the whole family. www.grimsbycyclehub.org.uk

Bicycles are not permitted in the shopping centre. Please use the facilities mentioned above to secure your cycle while visiting Freshney Place Shopping Centre.

Free to withdraw cash points are located near Poundland/Pep & Co on Friargate mall & inside M&S on the ground floor. Further cash points are available along Victoria Street just outside the shopping centre.

The toilets are located near Costa and The Entertainer.

*Kiddie Car Terms and Conditions

1. Hire of kiddie cars are subject to availability and on a first served basis. Kiddy cars cannot be reserved.

2. Only one child per kiddie car at all times (unless a double seater). Children must be securely restrained using the belts provided and be wearing shoes at all times.

3. Children must be over 12 months old, able to sit-up unaided. Only children who meet these requirements are permitted to ride in the kiddie car.

4. Height restrictions apply, maximum height is 120cm.

5. The supervising adult must ensure that attention is taken to avoid contact with other kiddie cars, objects or people.

6. Children must be supervised at all times whilst in the kiddie car.

7. Kiddy cars may only be used inside the Centre. Kiddie cars cannot be used on any escalators or stairs.

8. Kiddy cars must be returned to the Customer Service Desk at least 30 minutes before the Centre closes.

9. The supervising adult is responsible for all costs, losses, and liabilities incurred as a result of any injury or damage to the child and/or themselves and/or property damaged incurred whilst the kiddie car is in their possession, including if the kiddie car is stolen.

10. The supervising adult is responsible for all damages, losses, costs or expenses suffered by Freshney Place Shopping Centre as a result of any breach of these terms and conditions. This does not limit or affect Freshney Place Shopping Centre’s responsibility to you for death or personal injury caused by its negligence or the negligence of its officers or employees.

11. The management of Freshney Place Shopping Centre retains the right, at any time, to refuse or cancel the hire of a kiddie car at its sole discretion.

12. Any unattended property is left at the supervising adult’s risk and Freshney Place Shopping Centre assumes no liability for any theft, loss or damage to unattended property.

13. All personal data submitted to Freshney Place Shopping Centre will at all times be processed in accordance with the UK Data Protection Act 2018 and our Privacy Policy

14. Freshney Place Shopping Centre reserves the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time and without notice.

15. These terms and conditions shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and any disputes will be decided only by the English courts.

SOFT PLAY IS OPEN, TUESDAY TO SUNDAY, 9.30-15.00

Our FREE soft play area designed for kids under 120cm is to let the little ones blow off steam. We are pleased to provide this facility and have made it as safe as possible. The nature of children’s play activity means accidents may occasionally happen. Parents and guardians MUST supervise children at all times

Soft Play includes a breast feeding area and baby changing facility.

Our team patrol the shopping centre on a regular basis. They ensure the safety and well-being of both our shoppers and our retailers. Their responsibility is to maintain a welcoming, peaceful and safe environment in and around the centre. Any unusual or undesirable activities should immediately be brought to their attention.

Parking Update:

On the 1st of October if you are parking in our East Car Park a diversion is in place to enter, please follow this diversion. We are sorry for any inconvenience.

On the 2nd of October our West Car Park Upper levels will be closed, the ground floor will remain open for disabled and parent & child spaces only.  Please use our East Car Park.  We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

On the 7th of October our West Car Park Ground floor will be closed. Our upper levels will remain open and temporary bays will be available on level 3 for disabled and parent & child spaces. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Shopmobility is located at our Customer Service Desk on Baxtergate Mall.

Equipment can be hired from the centre’s Customer Service Team (at the desk near to HMV), and includes both standard, bariatric wheelchairs and scooters.
