Learn More About Offshore Wind Farm Projects in The Humber RegionPosted: Monday 09th July
Green Grimsby partner Ørsted has announced that it is hosting an event this summer to provide information to the public about its offshore wind farm projects in the Humber region.
Taking place on Wednesday 11 July 2018 between 11:00am and 18:30pm at The Assembly Room in Grimsby Town Hall, the exhibition will provide information about Hornsea Project One and Two, the world’s largest wind farms that are being constructed 120km off the East coast. The event will provide you with the opportunity to ask questions and find out more about the wind farms and the benefits it will have on the local community and environment.
Ørsted, formerly DONG Energy, is the world’s largest offshore wind farm developer. The UK is its largest market and the company already has three operational wind farms off the East Coast including Westermost Rough, Lincs and Race Bank which are operated from the Port of Grimsby. Hornsea Projects One and Two alone will generate enough clean electricity for over 2.3 million UK homes.
